Arrived really quickly. The wool seems to be of the usual hugh standard. Thank you Shetland sheep. My side note would be that I would have preferred if the large cone had been available.

Purchased 5 ply wool to knit the Haakon hat. Lovely to knit up. Finished article nice - length ended up 10 inches rather than 9 inches but might shrink when washed.

I did not expect it so soon, which was a lovely surprise. Because I thought there would be quite a delay, I actually started knitting the toorie with the wool that I spun from the fibre sample pack I bought last year.

Very happy with cost and speed of shipping to the USA. This my 4th cone of Jamieson & Smith’s Shetland wool. I made a cardigan several years ago and it has been worn a lot and it still looks wonderful with very little pilling. I am making a shawl with one of the cones using a US6. It is very light and airy. The third cone is being worked up my Brother KH840 with a tension 7 on my carriage. This last cone is going to be a cardigan. Already knitted up my gauges swatches.

Package arrived quickly and in excellent shape, and I can't wait to work with the beautiful yarn.
