The low score on shipping is entirely due to the poor handling of Homebase/Argos of the delivery. My local Argos is within a homebase store to whom the packages were delivered. Homebase subsequently failed to forward one of the packages to the Argos collection point causing a deal of inconvenience.

Item despatched quickly and securely packaged. A wee instruction sheet to help with fitting would have been appreciated, although we eventually figured things out for ourselves by finding a pdf copy of the boiler manual on the web.

The ordering process is fairly simple but the tracking is poor. I received an email to notify me that the order was being processed but I was not sent one to tell me it had been despatched. In the end, I had to telephone them to find out.

In fact, although I now have my order, if I click on the status link , it still says it is being processed

Apart from that, everything went very well. The price was good and the order was received about a week after being placed on the website.

Goods as described, it would have been useful to say there was a gasket in with the fan as I went and purchased a separate one. I was never told when the item was dispatched although it did arrive next day as I wanted.
