I know I should be pleased, but I find the the packaging excessive. I would have reordered the Muscadet ,but not near Xmas.

Sorry about the bulky packaging which is carefully chosen to prevent breakages ( we have only had one breakage in 2 Years ).
The inner pulp layers that are made from recycled paper & card stack together quite easily & should then go in your re-cycling bin & the outer cardboard can be flattened.

I have always had good service from York Wines. Delivery not so good sometimes as drivers just leave a very heavy box outside without even ring the bell. This did not happen this time but it has made me reluctant to place an order sometimes.

Courier company unable to find address and deliver even though they spoke to the intended recipient and promised to redeliver the following day.
The delivery address is correct the but a new house. Other deliveries have been made successfully to the address.
What do we do next?

Hello Nick,
Many apologies for this problem regarding delivery. We use City Link to deliver the wine to customers, the delivery address is not registered at City Link but we have spoken to them and they have assured us it will leave the depot by tomorrow at the latest. We are monitoring progress regularly and will update you with any news.
