I'm afraid I can't comment on shipping as we did click and collect - York Wines is only 5 miles away - or merchandise as we haven't yet drunk any of the wine. However the website is clear and straightforward and Stuart's service efficient and considerate in that he placed the box outside his shop when my husband arrived to collect it.

Just a fabulous service particularly given these uncertain times, Umbrelle is delicious, enjoyed it a couple of year’s ago at our local gastronomie pub and they then no longer served it. My friend tracked it down for my birthday - thank you York Wines!

I've always believed that every cloud has a silver lining. Lockdown is one such cloud and the discovery of York Wines is the silver lining. Usually, I would have bought wine from a supermarket, but now that's changed. I hope to place regular orders with York Wines from now on and be safe in the knowledge that not only will I be provided with good wines promptly delivered, but also, that I will be supporting a local firm. I wish York Wines every success in the future!
