The website said this pan fitted a SD-257 Breadmaker. The fitting on the pan was slightly different from the original and from the photograph on the website. It is looser than the original and the machine moved about more when kneading, but still made a good loaf.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately the photo was of another variant taken before we realised it had been changed by Panasonic. Following your call I contacted Panasonic technical who informed us that the design had been changed since customers found that the pan could only be fitted one way round and were trying to fit it incorrectly causing damage. This design allows the pan to be fitted either way round easily.

Item was out of stock when I ordered it on the phone. It was explained that it was on order and would be despatched in 4-6 days. In fact despatched after 2 days and I was kept up to date with progress. Item was very competitively priced and I cannot speak too highly of the service I received.
