It seems a bit unfair that my overall rating for Sit and Sleep is lowered by the performance rating I have allocated to a delivery company that operate outside of their control. If I was just rating Sit and Sleep I'd give them 100% satisfaction on all scores. An excellent company, an excellent futon mattress: we are now awaiting another as we have been so impressed. Theres nothing you can do about delivery companies, but I'd highly recommend Sit and Sleep, in all respects.

Seller is brilliant and so helpful- there was a glitch with delivery but they were great with sorting it out. The sofa itself is great- amazing quality and looks even better than the photo. Very happy- thanks for great customer service.

I can highly recommend headrest. I'm 5ft 10 and find sofa much more comfortable in supporting my back. Otherwise, I find the back of the sofa a little low for sitting extended periods of time. Personally, I believe the cost to be too much - particularly including seperate delivery price. It was just under £200 in total, which is difficult to justify. If they cost less, I likely would have ordered two. Headrest is easy to put in place/ remove. Very simple and effective design and good quality.

The overall service of ordering and delivery was excellent. The only reason for the 4 star and not 5 star rating for the merchandise is because we added the extra layer inside the futon and this resulted in a lumpy look rather than the one in the picture which I was expecting.
I know this was our choice to have the extra layer but I would have not had it if I had been aware of the overall look it gave. Perhaps a mention in with the information provided would be helpful to others.

Thanks ever so much for your lovely review. The example of the Traditional in the images on our website also has the extra polyester layer and it shouldn't affect the overall apperance. Perhaps you could send us an image on e-mail and we can take a look and comment further from there.

The staff at SitandSleep were incredibly helpful and friendly on the phone and made ordering from them a pleasure. The product is fantastic and it is very reassuring that all individual parts and covers can be replaced individually should something go wrong down the line. The only reason they do not get full 5 stars was due to ah honest delivery error by the currier company that meant the items were not delivered on time. Will definately use them again!

The futon arrived in great condition with easy instructions to assemble.
Unfortunately I was missing one part, but got a swift response and received the part the following day.
I understand the strange delivery schedule due to COVID, and as good at communicating as the delivery partners are, their instructions for delivery are quite cryptic.

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the futon and it looks great and is extremely sturdy and good value.

Delighted with our new Futon mattress. I picked the thickest mattress which is very comfortable to lie on and sit on. The fabric cover is good quality and feels good to touch. The pattern looks better in real life than in the picture. A great product made in Britain.

The whole process was very simple, the delivery was on time and carried out by very polite staff. Ordering was easy, Sit and Sleep staff most helpul. The actual futon was rather more difficult to assemble than the average DIY person might have hoped but when complete it is a lovely item. Super mattress!

My only comment would be that I had to call Sit and Sleep twice to enquire about delivery date and would have appreciated an email update on the progress of the order.

Lovely sofa bed and chair. Firm but comfy although havnt slept on it yet.
Great customer service. Very helpful, friendly and honest!
Delivery took a little while but it was quicker than promised and better than most specialist furniture outlets.

Good shopping experience, only place we could find something that met our requirements in size and style. Fast dispatch of samples to help with choice. Item description could have been better in relation to removable cover. Felt a bit let down by delivery time as while it was dispatched within the 10 days the 'delivery partner' then quoted 4 weeks for deliver which is left for you to arrange with them (not difficult though); to be fair they also delivered it quicker than the 4 weeks when asked.

Super-friendly and very knowledgeable customer service - they really know their stuff.
The support was prompt and very transparent. They agree to make a special shipping arrangement for me, which is normally not done, so I am super grateful for this.
The shipment cost was rather high (i.e. 1/3 of the total cost), but I cannot complain, since it was a special arrangemnet.

In remote areas like ours you shouldn't promise a specific delivery date.Perhaps more co-ordination with the courier needed.
Package arrived without damage and well wrapped.
Very personal service -excellent.

Hello Lynn. Thanks very much for your lovely reviews. It's really difficult to NOT give customers a specific delivery day - most customers will insist on it - even in remote areas such as yours as people are often out at work (although less so at the moment due to Covid-19) and so they need to be given a delivery day when they know they will be at home. The problem with your delivery wasn't that you are in a remote area, it was that DX unfortunately routed the packages to the wrong delivery depot (quite some way from your area) so they had to re-route them to the correct depot the following night for delivery to you. It is very rare that this happens but we hope that our attention in chasing the matter kept you informed and we thank you for your understanding and pleasant manner in communicating with us.

Great product, good value for money. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately had to pay extra for delivery specifically for it to be left in the downstairs of the block of flats which wasn’t the case, had to collect the item from a nearby car park as the driver couldn’t locate the exact address. Other than that great overall service.

Hello Ciara - thank you for your nice review. Just to clarify that the additional charge was for a specific time period delivery (rather than at the time that your address would be within the efficient routing of their other deliveries) as you advised the delivery company that you needed delivery after 5pm and they would not normally be in your area at that time. They were happy to accommodate your request but they do charge us extra for that service. We did send you an e-mail and had a telephone conversation with you regarding this. Thanks again.

Sofa was easy to assemble and looks as good as on the pictures. However, fabric has a distinctive smell... it's difficult to pinpoint what is it, smells like a mixture of dump fabric and something synthetic.
We are hoping that it will evaporate soon because at the moment it's quite overpowering.

Hello Alexandra. Thank you for your review. The fabric upholstered section of your Zeal Daybed will have been wrapped in plastic and cardboard for several weeks for transport from the Innovation factory and so it is not uncommon for there to be a degree of new furniture smell when it is unwrapped. We would fully expect any odour that is apparent after unwrapping the product to diminish in time and would suggest keeping the room in which it is located well ventilated during this period.
