I was not aware until I received delivery confirmation that the sofa would not be assembled by the delivery team and that the delivery was contracted out.
A month after the Expected date I received my delivery at 6.40 pm in the Evening, infuriating after taking a day off...instructions to assemble require the whole bed to be assembled upside down and then turned over, a struggle with my chronic fatigue and my husbands heart problems, leaving us both struggling for breath and exhausted. .

Item matches the description and, so far, seems to be of good quality. Delivery was a bit of a let down. Order placed on the 14 June. Item collected by courier 2 July but could not be delivered until 8 July.

In regard to the delivery time - due to the current Covid-19 issues - our delivery companies were quite stretched during June and early July and therefore some customer deliveries took just a few days longer than normal.

In addition we have a reduced manufacturing capacity in our workshop as we have to deploy social distancing procedures to keep our staff safe. As a result the workshop lead time on orders in June was a little longer than usual.

One of the feet was split apart on reciept. A forklift had gone through the cardboard I think. I didnt have the energy to do anything about it although I did take a picture if you are interested.

Thank you for your comments and please accept our apologies that there was an issue with one of the feet - this will have been transit damage as nothing is loaded on to vehicles with obvious damage to packaging/the product inside. Great quality product. Excellent interactions with Sit and Sleep that felt very personal and helpful. Delivery company felt below the current industry norms in terms of speed and communications. I didn’t hear anything from them despite chasing Sit and Sleep and them saying they would prompt them, so telephoned the delivery company myself and then arranged delivery date. Norm nowadays is much more active delivery process with communications throughout. Love the quality of the sofa bed.

Customer service was amazing. They were really helpful with advice. Really happy with the mattress ... seems very good quality.
Only quibble would be the delivery company that they use... parcel force were atrocious. Did not follow delivery instructions twice which I feel let this company down sadly.

Shipping was a disaster and yet for the second shipping the same company was used

The futon is lovely and well padded, really takes two to build it which is not ideal but did eventually manage it on my own

Please please stop using the distribution company you have as they will get you a terrible reputation.

We completely accept that on this occasion you did not have a good delivery experience for which we sincerely apologise – it is not what we want, or strive for, for any of our customers. We use this delivery company extensively and, as I mentioned in my e-mail to you on 30th November, we rarely have issues with them but on very rare occasions, as with any delivery company, things don’t go quite right. On such occasions we try very hard to resolve the issue in the quickest time frame with the minimal inconvenience for the customer.
