Paid for first class Royal Mail delivery. Took a total of 1 week to be delivered.

This item was shipped on time and sent first class with Royal Mail. We agree that delivery one week later is not good enough. We pay for first class next day delivery so Royal Mail have failed both us and the customer, although we were unaware of this until we read this review as we had no contact notifying us of any issues from the customer.

As always I can't praise this product highly enough. I am never disappointed and recommend to friends
However my parcel did not arrive next day as expected and when I queried this with customer service I received a bland excuse that courier was delayed to bad weather which had actually improved by the time I had placed my order
I asked if perhaps a postage refund could be considered but so far I have been completely ignored. So disappointed as I feel let down and loyalty counts for nothing

Our courier offers next day delivery and 99.9% of the time they achieve this target. Unfortunately on this occasion the parcel was held up by 24 hours. It was not a bland excuse. We contacted our courier company to ask the reason for the delay and were told it was due to bad weather. This may not be the case but it was the information we were provided with. We do not ignore our customers, there was a delay in our response which we have addressed. We're a small business, if there's a problem and an email gets missed, please pick up the phone and we will do our best to help.
