Shipping a bit slow due to current situations. I suppose that 10 days should be expected as " normal ".

It would help if the two oils I ordered came with instructions so I would know which oil to use on which parts of my French horn. They look very similar l. I ordered a Rotary Valve Oil and a Valve Oil.

The products were just what I was looking for as someone who has not taken enough care of their instrument previously. The kit let me start from scratch essentially. However, I emailed nearer to the beginning of lockdown to ask about the products and received no response which was disappointing. Understandably products weren't being shipped, but I wanted to pre-order the kit for when they were shipping again. When I was finally able to order again it did come promptly.

Thank you for your recent review. Our apologies that our stock listings were incorrect. Our website is not linked to our in store stock systems so stock levels rely on being updated manually.

Thank you for your review. Your order was packaged using CFC free Pelespan chips that are reusable and 100% recyclable. This review has prompted us to look at sourcing biodegradable chips made from renewable starch that are compostable. We hope to implement this change in the near future.

We have now sourced biodegradable filler packaging so we are pleased to say that now all our packaging is 100% recyclable / biodegradable.

After sending the payment for my merchandise I also sent an email with some questions which where not answered. There could be more clarity in delivery, for example the estimated time.

Unfortunately some of the bristles detached themselves from the pull through although I did just manage to clean one French Horn. However, excellent service from Paxman to resolve the issue which was pleasing. Hopefully I was just unlucky. Printed off their information sheet to assist with the cleaning process which was helpful.

Generally great product however one of the bottles I ordered leaked during transit as the top wasn’t screwed on properly resulting in oil everywhere!

The oils seem fine, but the website is misleading; it shows a photo of 5 oils, whereas the ‘Paxman oils and greases’ is only for 3 bottles ( I was sent the link by my son’s French horn teacher so ordered without looking at the description). When I rang to query my delivery, I suggested the photo should be replaced with one showing the bottles you are actually going to get, rather than including 2 extra (this hasn’t been changed so might catch other people out).
