I ordered the DW/Pxn 3, 4, 5, and 8, to test the mouthpieces and choose only one of them. I am so pleased with the distinct advantages of all of them, that I want to keep them all. I am settling on the 5, because of it's versatility, but can relatively easily swap them out, for programmes that require more specialisation. They help me produce clear attacks and a warm, but focussed tone. Customer service was helpful, flexible and even dug up the sold out 5 and put it in stock for me!

This was exactly what I needed! I live in an accommodation with people living on most sides of my apartment, so it feels good to be able to practice and know I'm not disturbing them.
The mute works wonderfully at dramatically cutting the external sound down (maybe to below the level at which you'd expect from someone talking, but not loudly), and the sound quality of the studio is great (it feels like I'm in a room with good acoustics).
Delivery was a day longer than expected, but well package.

As usual, my order was quickly dealt with and to my great surprise it arrived the next day. Superb service from Paxman's. The tuning slide grease always does the trick and is the best for the job, in my opinion.

Also, at the time, I offered a suggestion that the multiple horns pieces shown on the website should have 'number of horns' shown clearly for each entry, rather than having to open each entry one-by-one to find out. I have had absolutely no feedback from this suggestion, duff or otherwise.

Impossible to review this mute as Paxman's on-line system and customer response were so poor!

I ordered the mute on a Friday afternoon, expecting delivery on the Monday.

However, late on the Monday, I received an email saying that the product was out of stock and could promise no delivery date. Why did the sytem not know this?

Very amateurish - and I shall not be back.
