I love Jamieson wool, but I was hoping light fawn would be sent, not stone, I suppose that shade Fc17 is no longer available, I’m halfway through a cardigan so it will just have to split at the armholes with gold below and stone above.

Hello, if you ordered shade 202 we have sent you the correct shade. FC17 was discontinued about 5 or 6 years ago. 202 has never been a gold shade, you may have been looking for FC43 which is a golden wheat shade.

Since I learned to knit Fair Isle in 2020, I have used only J&S 2-ply jumper weight yarn. It’s easy to work with, and I enjoy knowing that I’m using wool from the place this style of knitting was born. Sometimes I order it from a supplier here, in the USA, but I get the best color selection and price when I order directly from Shetland. Orders arrive in 7-10 days, are well packaged, and ready for my project. ☺️
