I have used Jamieson and Smith previously.
As always, their delivery times are amazing, considering they are not on the UK mainland.
The quality and beautiful colours of their wool cannot be found elsewhere.
I did not need to contact customer services this time, but in the past they have always been exemplary!

Jan 11, 2023 - the package finally arrived! Not J&S’s fault. All the delay was down to the Royal Mail strike days & maybe slowness of CBSA this side of the pond. All items are great. I just need to break in the knitting belt. 😊

The high quality of the yarn was as expected. I appreciated that the pattern was separately held in a cardboard envelope to ensure a pristine condition. My only critique was that I was not expecting delivery to take so long. I did not get a 'Thanks for your order' e-mail and only found out that they were shut until 5th January by accident. In some ways it was nice to know that they were taking a proper holiday, but some people may expect the same service all year round.

Thank you for your feedback, all orders receive an order confirmation automatically by email and when the order is dispatched. if you didn't receive one it might be in your junk mail folder. Your order was placed on Boxing Day and dispatched the first day we were back.
We had a banner at the top on the homepage of our website stating our Christmas Closure dates from the middle of December and posted about our closure dates on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages on the 22nd of December as well as our Newsletter which also went out on 22nd December. I'm not sure what else we could have done to make you aware.

It arrived a few days after ordering in spite of the distance involved and postal strikes.

This shipment finally arrived Dec 28th, a month after ordering. No thanks to the Royal Mail’s Strikers. J&S packed it very well & everything was present & accounted for. All the yarn is lovely & i am keen to get knitting my Roadside Beanie. Thank you for using a large font size on the pattern, it will make it so much easier.

My order from Dec 19th arrived at my door here on Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada Dec 29th. I am really impressed as no one at Canada Post was delivering here Dec 24,25,26 & Royal Mail was having so many strike days slowing up shipments. My order was packaged well & everything accounted for & in good condition. I am impressed by the jumper weight & lace shade cards. A lot of work has gone into those for a very nominal price. They will be very useful.

The quality of Jamieson and Smith wool is absolutely outstanding. I ordered this shipment on the 16th of December, hoping to get it sometime mid-January due to the holiday season and to my surprise, it arrived on Christmas Eve! I’m in the US and normal shipping is 13-15 days.
