What can I say but these folks are THE BEST!!! Prices are reasonable, shipping price is reasonable and FAST. Website is easy to navigate.A great yarn for stranded knitting, but don't discount it for plain knitting as well. A pullover knit at a slightly looser gauge makes a GREAT lightweight garment for travel. Can't say enough about the yarn, the staff AND the customer service. A++! Can't wait to see you at the store during Wool Week!!!

As usual top quality wool and superb colours. The only downside that I could not arrange for the package to state a lower value and so had to pay a 50% surcharge on its arrival in Spain.

The patterns and yarn are super but I could only give 1 star for shipping because Shetland Wool Brokers use plastic bags still. If it had been strong paper then I would have given 5 stars.

Thank you for the feedback, all the plastic bags we use are either recyclable or recycled from our shop, we don't use paper bags in case the yarn gets damaged.

It was a really fast delivery and well packaged.
I have knitted my tension square and is perfect for the Paton’s 2ply shawl that is my usual pattern.
I have only started the middle square of the shawl but it is knitting up easily and I am pleased with the result. The fact that it is a cone means that I have very little end to try to sew in invisibly.
The shawl will be going to Australia and I know it will outshine all the wool that Australian sheep can give.

J&S are the best! It took less than 10 days to travel from Shetland to the USA. Their yarn is wonderful. The product I wanted was out of stock some weeks ago. I asked to be notified, I was, ordered and now I'm happily knitting. Thank you.
