I have never knitted Fair Isle before. This project is to occupy my hands and head as I have become ill in the last year and spend alot of time in bed. So far I am still doing the patch. It is fiddly &slow but looks amazing and it is so motivating to see the pattern emerging. Very rewarding for the hard work. The you tube video clips have been so useful as I am a beginner & need all the tips I can get.

Excellent wool, beautiful colours- I’m really enjoying knitting with it and will definitely order more.

Only 4* for customer service as when I rang to enquire about fair isle hat patterns for children I was dismissed rather abruptly. I would like to knit intricate hats for young relatives and would like some smaller sizings.

One ball of, 77 Black 2 ply jumper weight, was poorly spun with thick and very thin parts at the beginning of the ball. All the other balls of wool were fine. Never had this problem before.
