Always know the wool will be the best quality. Ordered online on Sunday, dispatched on Monday and handed to me in Essex by my postie on Wednesday morning. Can’t get better than that!

The website is easy to use and has a large range of Shetland wool in lovely colours. There is also a large range of patterns and equipment. Given that the goods are coming all the way from the Shetland Islands the postage is reasonable and timescales for delivery are good.

My package arrived promptly and very well wrapped. While I haven't opened it yet (as I was leaving the country soon after and will be shortly moving house), even through the packaging the yarn is absolutely entrancing. Beautifully spun, lovely colours. Can't wait to finally get started on the project I ordered it for!

Arrived quickly & safely though message for postie hidden. Products good & right colours.
But:
For Fair Isle knitters:Ordering would be easier if you had a colour wheel showing all yarns, grouped by tone/hue (similar to Pantone chart used for editing documents) and with a coding to show availability of ply. Ditto the order you show them on the page. A parallel way to compare colours for contrast/compatibility would also be great. See https://clan.com/tartandesigner for idea.

This is an excellent company to deal with.the quality of the wool and instructions is fabulous. I have only recently started knitting with 5 double pointed needles and their instructions are fabulous. Definitely will buy from them again.

I have recently received a shade card from J&S - I am delighted with the quality of both the wool samples and the presentation. It arrived down here in Devon much more quickly than I had anticipated; the speed and the careful packing is much appreciated.
