I ordered this unit after seeing great reviews, although I'm always nervous about ordering from abroad as I live in Australia. Well, the unit is absolutely superb - top marks... but the "package" was poor. The unit wasn't even in a box - literally just wrapped in some bubble wrap and taped in a post bag. No batteries (advert did say this). No instructions. No cables. Nothing. Not very impressed. Sure, I get the saving on international post, but this felt substandard and more like AliExpress.

Comms with Clive have been on point and despite some negative writings on the web for his lack of response, this has not been the case with me whatsoever. And I mean this, his communication with me was excellent, leading me to suspect that may treat demanding whiners with the contempt they deserve.As for the output of his Max Covert, I’m so impressed with the distance of throw and tightness of beam which is far more than I expected to get, that I’ll be requesting another for back up.

Just used the dark engine blade ir illuminator for the first time this week,very pleased with the results, illuminating easily past 350m +,have it mounted on my Alpex 4klrf.

I was able to find exactly what I was looking for at a good price. My order was delivered when anticipated and in perfect condition.

Cracking buy, light is very good with the Alpex 4K lrf. Small lightweight design is also very good. Was shipped promptly also.
